Voluntary Financial Contribution
Years Prep to 6

Dear Parents / Carers,

Voluntary Financial Contribution

Holland Park State School strives for excellence by working for the best learning outcomes for all its students.

This year, the school is again asking parents/carers to contribute to the purchase of classroom consumables and other resource items as deemed important by the teacher to support your child’s learning.  The contribution will include funds to support our technology programs, provide sunscreen for students and provide hands on materials.

The cost of this year’s contribution is $95.00 per student Prep – Year 6.
Please click on the below link for the payment form

This cost equates to about $2 per week with all money going directly to your child’s year level to purchase classroom consumables and other resource items to enhance learning in the classroom.

EFTPOS (savings), EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer via the internet), BPOINT and credit card facilities are now available for your convenience.

Parents who find difficulty in contributing through either of these alternatives, but would like to participate, should contact our office to make other suitable arrangements, such as breaking the contribution into term or semester amounts or fortnightly instalments via Electronic Funds Transfer.

While this scheme is voluntary, it can only be a benefit if it is well supported.  Contributions should be paid as early as possible but of course gradual or part payments will be gratefully received.  At the end of each semester teachers will be happy to supply you with a report of how your contribution was utilised.

Please contact me if you have questions or concerns.

Yours faithfully,

Anthony Gribbin
